NNRMS Agencies :

NNRMS Secretariat

The NNRMS Secretariat is located in the ISRO Headquarters in Bangalore. The NNRMS Secretariat serves and coordinates the NNRMS and its different elements - PC-NNRMS, NNRMS-SCs and other NNRMS projects and programmes.

Regional Remote Sensing Service Centre (RRSSC)

The Regional Remote Sensing Service Centres (RRSSCs) were established under NNRMS to provide regional service facilities and support regional users to carry out various application projects. The RRSSCs have advanced facilities in image analysis, GIS and GPS and also a core manpower that support and assist users to address their remote sensing projects. RRSSCs are also able to provide unique applications and software development services.
RRSSCs are functional in Bangalore, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Kharagpur and Dehradun.

State Remote Sensing Applications Centre(SRSAC)

NNRMS has promoted and encouraged the establishment of State Remote Sensing Applications Centres (SRSAC) in states - mainly to support and cater the state requirements of remote sensing data analysis and developmental support. As of now, 35 states have established their respective SRSAC. All these SRSACs are equipped with advanced facilities for remote sensing data analysis, Geographical Information System (GIS) packages and stereo processing software. The SRSAC also support the conduct of NNRMS national missions. Apart from carrying out various projects of relevance to their states and NNRMS, SRSAC also conduct trainings and workshops in remote sensing.

ISRO/DOS Centres

As NNRMS is anchored within Department of Space, some of the ISRO/DOS centres - National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA); Space Applications Centre (SAC), ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC) and ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) are actively contributing to the goals of NNRMS.

Academia and Universities

Various Universities and academic institutions support NNRMS activities - through special education and training activities. These institutes carry out special NNRMS sponsored training programmes and also offer standardised curricula courses in graduate and under-graduate programmes.

Private Sector

A large number of private sector agencies - involved in remote sensing, GIS, GPS, photogrammetry activities are associated with NNRMS. NNRMS encourages private sector agencies to provide quality services to NNRMS users and agencies.
